# fcancer.ai

Exploring how AI could support the review of medical images.

Early-stage research · Not a clinical service

fcancer.ai is a BoxOfChocolates.ai initiative exploring AI-assisted MRI
screening support. Its long-term purpose is to investigate whether
carefully bounded AI tools could help support timely review by qualified
clinicians.

Illustrative workflow

Keep evidence and review together.

A concept for organizing research material without implying a
clinical result.

* **Source context**Document where research inputs
  come from.
* **Research notes**Keep limitations and open
  questions visible.
* **Qualified review**Preserve the role of clinical
  expertise.

Concept only. No patient data, live upload, model output, or
diagnostic interpretation is shown.

Illustrative interface mockup for the program’s research direction. It
does not depict a functioning product or a validated clinical workflow.

Purpose

## Research that starts with the limits.

Medical-image interpretation depends on clinical context and
qualified expertise. This initiative asks how AI might assist a
screening-support workflow while preserving the role of the
clinician and making uncertainty understandable.

Potential benefit is a research question. We do not claim that this
work diagnoses cancer, improves clinical outcomes, or is ready for
patient care.

### Who the research aims to support

Researchers and clinical collaborators investigating responsible
screening-support tools, with patients as the intended long-term
beneficiaries.

### Where the work stands

Early-stage research. The visual above is a concept mockup. This
site offers no scan upload, medical interpretation, or
patient-facing screening service.

Research direction

## Questions that guide the work.

1. **Define a narrow support role**Identify which
screening-support tasks are appropriate to investigate and where
   clinical judgment must remain central.
2. **Understand evidence and uncertainty**Explore how
research inputs, limitations, and outputs could be documented so a
   qualified reviewer can assess them.
3. **Establish evaluation requirements**Determine what
independent evaluation, clinical expertise, and safeguards would be
   needed before any real-world use.
4. **Build with privacy in mind**Keep sensitive health
information out of public demonstrations and general organizational
   communications.

These are research priorities, not claims of completed clinical
studies, validated performance, or regulatory authorization.

## Program boundaries

fcancer.ai is screening-support research, not medical diagnosis or a
substitute for a qualified clinician. The mockup is not a medical
device interface and should not guide care decisions.

Do not send scans, patient records, or other private health
information through this website or our general contact email. For
personal health concerns, contact a qualified healthcare professional.

Work with us

## Help shape responsible research.

We welcome conversations with researchers, clinical subject-matter
experts, and prospective collaborators about appropriate research
questions, evaluation, and safeguards.
